Answer a few questions to see your options before writing your complaint.
Check your optionsThe CCPC Consumer Helpline Report 2025 names ten traders most frequently mentioned by callers. The figures below come from that report. They are not a ranking of every company in Ireland.
A helpline contact means someone asked the CCPC for help and named a business. It does not establish that the business broke the law or owes that person money.
What to do next
- 1Check the reporting period and what each figure measures.
- 2Use sector totals to understand the wider context, rather than treating them as company-specific complaints.
- 3Choose the relevant company or topic guide below for help with your own complaint.
The CCPC 2025 top named traders
The CCPC 2025 report listed Ryanair with 593 helpline contacts, Rathwood with 565, Currys with 445, Sky with 431, eir Group with 430, Harvey Norman with 390, Aer Lingus with 349, LIDL with 333, Virgin Media with 286, and Vodafone with 267.
These are helpline-contact figures, not decisions on individual complaints. A larger total does not by itself tell you how a business will deal with your problem.
What these figures do not tell you
The figures do not rank the quality of every company's service. They cannot establish which businesses are the worst or whether an individual complaint is justified.
Use the figures as background information. Your complaint should explain what happened to you and include the documents that support it.
Why different complaint reports are not a single league table
The CCPC, ComReg, IAA, FSPO and CRU cover different services and publish different kinds of information. A helpline contact, a referral and a decision are different measures, so their totals should not be treated as interchangeable.
When comparing reports, check the period covered, the type of contact counted and the business named. Missing figures do not mean a company has no complaints.
